Henry Kapitapita has been a satellite
DXer since 2002. His home is located
in the city of Zomba in Malawi’s south-
ern region in southeastern Africa. The
country’s slogan is “From the Warm
Heart of Africa”. Malawi has roughly 14
million inhabitants and is surrounded
by Zambia, Mozambique and Tanzania.
Henry describes to us the first satellite
he received. “That was the PAS 7/10
satellite at 68.5 east which today is
called INTELSAT 7/10.”
